Narcissism? Stewart doesn't think there's legitimate fear when Trump's rousing his rally crowds against them? "Enemy of the people"?— YasGHOUL's Farm (@Yastreblyansky) October 31, 2018
I understand the broad set of points here, that Trump doesn't really hate the press but adores and feeds on it, and his attacks and threats on Twitter and at rallies are all merely WWE pro wrestling trash talk. Indeed, everything he does is theater in his mind, or he doesn't make a distinction between reality and show at all, and it's hard to say he has a serious intention of anything, ever. When he joined the club of nuts claiming that Mr. Soros was the mastermind of a conspiracy to send an army to invade the United States from the south I don't think he meant anything by that either, but it really did inspire a guy to slaughter a lot of people at prayer. People who listen to Trump aren't as cute and silly as he is.

b) Trump is lying when he says he used the "enemy of the people" line before he won the election. https://t.co/ZX202GAPDU
For the record, Capital Gazette in Annapolis. https://t.co/cN1bblx9Un— YasGHOUL's Farm (@Yastreblyansky) November 1, 2018
The killer used essentially the same logic as Trump uses to explain his anti-press rants. He didn't like a story published about him, but the journalists and courts agreed the story was true. So this was his "only way of fighting back." https://t.co/p7wlwbpbty— YasGHOUL's Farm (@Yastreblyansky) November 1, 2018
I'm not saying Trump inspired the killings at the Capital Gazette! He obviously had nothing to do with it. I'm saying he's parallel to it, and that is where this kind of thinking can go.
In other news, I got a "like" from Ambassador McFaul!
Thanks for the map. https://t.co/DOg9a0RKZz— Michael McFaul (@McFaul) November 1, 2018
That seems like a very high estimate. Last spring's caravan left Tapachula March 25, got to Mexican border April 1, and arrived at Tijuana April 29. By then they were down to a little over 150 asylum applicants, no invasion. https://t.co/zeWQ18JBtG— YasGHOUL's Farm (@Yastreblyansky) November 1, 2018
Trump plan to deploy US military in that cycle was announced April 3. https://t.co/tOgIi4wb2U … He also said he was planning new legislation to block migrants and asylum speakers. Sound familiar? That's because you've lived through it twice at this point.— YasGHOUL's Farm (@Yastreblyansky) November 1, 2018
The military obviously didn't do anything violent in April, or indeed anything at all, because there wasn't anything for them to do. There wasn't in fact any invasion, remember, and besides, the US military is NOT ALLOWED to do anything to immigrants https://t.co/trgmATdJR3— YasGHOUL's Farm (@Yastreblyansky) November 1, 2018
It continues to drive me nuts that anybody is taking this seriously, the idea that there is anything going on like an invasion that must be met by military force, or the idea that it actually will be met by military force (which is terrifying some people on the moderate left imagining a mass slaughter, which would be horrible if there was any chance it would happen, but luckily there isn't), as if Trump hadn't fooled us on all this once before. So I predict— YasGHOUL's Farm (@Yastreblyansky) November 1, 2018
1) the caravan will reach Tijuana latest around December 1
2) it will be extremely small
3) the presence of the military will have been totally forgotten as they slink home
