Today in contempt for the working class

Ah yes, "Boilermaker" Pence they call him, scourge of all the locals from Muncie to Indianapolis because he's such a hardass working-class sort of chap such as Suderman met once when the Uber was delayed and he was compelled to take the subway. Suderman knows all about such warm-hearted though stern-exteriored salt-of-the-earth fellows. (In fact Pence is more abstemious, or more afraid of alcohol, than Trump, refusing even to be in a room where alcohol is served unless his wife is present to restrain him, for flesh is weak, even Pence's.)

Yes We Kaine

So I took it a little personal at first...
Still, in the cold light of day, or what would be the cold light if it wasn't 99 degrees Fahrenheit in New York today, reading about Kaine has been kind of reassuring. He's been to a great extent a victim of the kind of dumbass stereotyping we once did with Joe Biden—very specifically, people used to worry about whether Biden would be a reliable voice for abortion rights, given his Catholicism, but he's always been very clear that his personal views have no impact on his views of what should be legal, and the same applies to Kaine, who has been maybe even more emphatic:
