Led to this other Ellington standsrd, of which the tune is so similar structurally but different emotionally:


And then I stopped trying to make sense and just pulled some stuff I wanted to hear.


This one is really astonishing though:


And this, which sounds like it must have been recorded well before the 1963 hit release of the song.
