Quick response to the release by Trump's tax lawyers, Sheri Dillon and William Nelson, of a statement on the Emperor's financial relationship to Russians, just because I've been looking at this stuff on and off for quite a while:
With notably rare exceptions, Donald Trump is probably the least connected-to-Russia president in history https://t.co/KAkGWWPese— Yastreblyansky (@Yastreblyansky) May 12, 2017
"Trump's non-connection to Russia is astonishingly excellent in a man of his age. He could stand to lose a few outstanding loans."— Yastreblyansky (@Yastreblyansky) May 12, 2017
@Bosengood I don't think they would risk that but: if Russian funds are laundered through Bank of Cyprus, just for instance https://t.co/1DRMQVG9YS— Yastreblyansky (@Yastreblyansky) May 12, 2017
@Bosengood The letter could be accurate but misleading.— Yastreblyansky (@Yastreblyansky) May 12, 2017
@Bosengood Or huge and mysterious Deutsche Bank loans that we're aware of, for that matter..— Yastreblyansky (@Yastreblyansky) May 12, 2017
@Bosengood But I love the Cyprus possibility which brings together our friends Dmitry Rybolovlev and Wilbur Ross https://t.co/10weeeNT3n— Yastreblyansky (@Yastreblyansky) May 12, 2017
@Bosengood Though it's directly acknowledged in the letter, it has roused suspicions because it was twice the estate's value https://t.co/pukpq8wO70— Yastreblyansky (@Yastreblyansky) May 12, 2017
@Bosengood And as far as "reputable" goes, Sheri Dillon isn't. Organized that "trust" and the theater event with manila folders https://t.co/KQL1fTxePP— Yastreblyansky (@Yastreblyansky) May 12, 2017
Have you heard that expression before, for this type of an event? Money laundering? Have you heard that expression used before? Because I haven’t heard it. I mean, I just... I came up with it a couple of days ago and I thought it was good. It’s what you have to do.
