This piece of op-ed by Jen Kerns in The Hill, enthusiastically acclaimed by Uday or Qusay, has something very odd about it:
Trump's first year in office was the year of the woman https://t.co/ZBcZT2aP9K— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) January 17, 2018
It literally refuses to tell the reader its own story: That there's something "astounding" about the number of women the Emperor has hired as opposed to his three most recent predecessors. Why haven't the media been acclaiming this? Kern blames it on liberal bias, but why isn't she saying what it is?WTF? This bizarre story doesn't give any numbers--just "astounding"--or criteria for what they mean by "senior position", so it's impossible to tell exactly how false it is, but it's clearly false. pic.twitter.com/Z0fid8I5yR— Yask Not What Your Country Can Do For You (@Yastreblyansky) January 17, 2018
As of March 2017 the Trump administration was way behind previous administrations in hiring women over all (just 27%) and in cabinet picks (4 out of 24) https://t.co/fzxtbQBHz9— Yask Not What Your Country Can Do For You (@Yastreblyansky) January 17, 2018
By May it hadn't improved https://t.co/pu1ExjNTJW In September administration was 80% men, compared to 60% for Obama admin https://t.co/IGkwG8iBEm— Yask Not What Your Country Can Do For You (@Yastreblyansky) January 17, 2018
US attorney nominees were 1 woman and 32 men https://t.co/JsKjLcDrjm 42% of Obama's federal judge nominees were women, 19% of Trump's https://t.co/lVMtlci1vY— Yask Not What Your Country Can Do For You (@Yastreblyansky) January 17, 2018
Sally Yates. Katie Walsh, K.T. McFarland, Angella Reid also all gone. Of course far more men have left. Maybe that's the story, that women have more endurance for putting up with the mismanagement and abuse in the Trump White House. They're just tougher. https://t.co/iTC0RGeDHh— Yask Not What Your Country Can Do For You (@Yastreblyansky) January 17, 2018
