For the Record: Bad Sports

From Terry Zwigoff's Bad Santa (2003), via.

(I shouldn'tn be implying here that conservatives don't intend to have the people's best interests at heart; at best, they're simply authoritarians certain that they know best and the actual will of the people doesn't need to be consulted.)

I'm seriously thinking there may be a shift in power, ongoing, in the Republican Party and in the West Wing, away from the imperial person: not least because of the attorney general mess:
N.B. the current nym "агент Дональд" (Agent Donal'd) is a reference to this remarkable message from Dmitriy Smirnov which appeared yesterday:

("Never has Agent Donald appeared so close to failure.") Smirnov is Kremlin correspondent for the very popular tabloid Komsomol'skaya Pravda. I don't know what it signifies Kremlinologically speaking, but I'm sure interested.
